I feel like they knew me all my life. Gin Delivery. Sigh.
C’mon, hydration, Bro.
I have daydrinked today with my Cleveland friend, so don’t expect this blog post to be a witty work of art. I do have a plethora of pictures for you though, because how could I ever travel without crawling on the floor and laying underneath things with my camera. #TWSS. Fierce shit. Appropriateness has never been my forte.
Skills aside, traveling is my jam. I love to come home after a while, but I seriously feel at my most comfortable when I am free from time and space. So, while gipsying around solo in the world to see my friends and places, I did several things. Hang on, why is this correcting system giving me a red line for daydrinking, gipsying and assshow? That just feels all wrong. These words are a thing, and you know it.
Back to the point. I opted to improve my babysitter skills. No, I have no intention whatsoever to make this part of my real life, but I can pretend right? Name of the game. And I must admit that Ave is by far one of the best babies I held in my arms.
The majority of the time here was taken up by hanging out with the aforementioned people, which unsurprisingly is my dream scenario. My friends are my family. After painting Vancouver crimson red, Laura and I crashed Meghan ‘s place and I am still on that business. I don’t even want to stop, no kiddin’. Or why should I leave a city with Sex (the show. I am talking about the show. I swear.), an epic CrossFit gym, a Bestie and her family, a pool and the beach around the corner, perfect eats and gin tonics? Or watermelon mojitos, if you prefer that. Insert audible squealing.
Speaking of photography and CrossFit, I snagged a little job at the gym here and I am excited. It’s one of the coolest CrossFit gyms I have seen in a long while and the people are just as fantastic. I have been training almost every day there since coming to Cleveland and scaring the locals here with my Swissness and I like it. That sounds way naughtier than I intended, but I do feel slightly exotic in this little land of lake.
Right. I feel it’s time to turn in and sleep the booze out. Quite frankly, I am already sober again, considering we drank two gin&tonics in the middle of the day. That’s the bonus about daydrinking (I hate this redline !!), you get to go to bed sober. Winning. Ok, ramble is over and I’ll just be over here, shooting and wandering. Tag me if you need me.
