Probably the easiest way to stay in California is to get married. I mean, it would be a fair trade. I can stay in San Diego with Laura and Evie and Gigi and Carly and Gina and all the fabulous bloggergirls out here – in return I would, uhm, make Swiss Cheese Fondue? I can teach Swiss German too. I obviously can not offer money though and depending on the chemistry (and appearance, cough), I even wouldn’t want to offer payment in kind.
I admit to be slightly if not overwhelmingly happy to be here with my wonderful friends and I don’t want to leave so soon. It makes me wanna shout it from the rooftops that we will spend 4 days in Vegas for my bday weekend. And Evie will teach me how to handle a gun. Hey, speaking of, I could get married in Vegas, right? Much easier. Is it too straight forward to say that I only want a marriage out of convenience? Cause clearly, I don’t want to get married. So said Laura a year ago. She’s married by now.
Let’s focus on frolic, harmless things like Laura and me sweeping off the boards at the farmers market and celebrating my first Cinco de Mayo. Another thing I don’t understand, but I totally like the habit to celebrate all kinds of strange traditions that involve food and booze. Clearly, I am all in.
Shenanigans happening today with new visitors!!! It’s not NORMAL how excited I was to finally meet my #vanillagorilla sista. And the hubby of course. He is an extrovert. We get along well I am not surprised.
Besides drinking beer I’ve been regularly doing my training. CF Hillcrest is great. The people are so nice and I love the programming too. Cash Out Bench Press, hell yes! 51 reps with 50% of my BodyWeight in 2 minutes. And Snatch Deadlift is one of my faves too – though the EMOM WOD with Clusters was damn mean.
More shenanigans to come with these two wonderful ladies! 2 more days and I am in VEGAS, Baby!
Do you drink beer? I don’t really, but I found I had to be social so I drank a blonde. Seemed to make sense.
Did you celebrate Cinco de Something?
