Girlscrew and Handstands, isolated in a little hut.

19. November 2014 by swissfitchick

Ignore me. I am not really here. I just want to bombard you with shit tons of pics from the girls weekend at the chalet past weekend. It was raining and we locked up in this little gorgeous house to do nothing. Spending times with the girlscrew is definitely one of the most favorite things for me to do. Even though one of us was missing – normally we are five of us. We’ve known each other for over 20 years and I love that we keep up our trips and meetings for all times.

I was at CrossFit on Friday morning and planned another class on Sunday night – and in between I did NOTHING but relax. Getting ready on Friday night and immediately starting practising handstand and celebrating when we arrived.

LucieHandstandSarah (right side) is a former circus artist and a personal trainer. My perfect coach for my bane of existence: Handstand Walk.

See, there might be friendcircles who go to museums together or have political discussions. Us, we sleep till our beds are buttshaped and then stay in our PJ’s till 3:30 pm and practise more handstands. I got them all hooked. Talk about PJ-handstand-insanity for 2 hours.

I made two steps!!

I made two steps!!

Here are two comparison videos with going up with a swing or going up with hands on the floor. Clearly, I need to stick with the latter version.

Other than that – it was eating, drinking, chatting and laughs. And a million hours of sleep. Believe me, I fell into the deepest sleep coma by the second my head touched the pillow. Oh, and we walked to the grocery store for 10 minutes and back for FOOD – once – with a ridiculous loud lament about the horrible fact that we had to shower and put on normal clothes.

Ok. We actually moved our butts for 45 minutes on a little walk when it cleared up on Sunday.

It was perfect.

Now I am in Tel Aviv.

Will post some stuff soon – as soon as I am not busy being at the beach anymore……

Who thought I would ever write again. Link in Bio. ‚'In essence, love is the consistent embodiment of care, compassion, kindness, and joy toward yourself, your partner, and each other as two interconnected and supported beings. If you encounter those feelings, you can't work around your own vulnerability.

But: there is one emotion that is stronger than fear, and that is forgiveness. For power is never simply a possession but an exercise; power is about how we understand ourselves. If we can forgive, we can let go. If we can let go, we can detach. If we can detach, we find happiness.' #blogger #heartstories #detachment #happiness
