Weekend!! Friday!! Oh ma God, Oh ma God, Oh ma Gooooood, finnnnaaaallllyyyyyyy!!!!

Gimme it all. Oh hell yeah.

All of a sudden it turned cold here – talk about 8° C during the day. Means, I had to dig out my beanie.

LucieLucieI was sipping on champagne last night while sitting in the VIP box and watching the Swiss pride – Roger Federer – sweating. Nothing to complain here. Good company too – Christian, Mom and Sylvia, my Bestie. #sophisticatedbitches

Of course he won for us.

Of course he won for us.

Friends Family Friends ChampagneAll in all, it was kind of a perfect day – since I will work at a fair next week, I PRE-compensated some overtime and took the day off. I am really exhausted currently and all I needed was SLEEP – which I caught up on by 10 hours straight. Oh bliss.

HomeUnfortunately I had to move my butt out of this cosy place as my stomach was calling my name LOUDLY and asked to be fed. I tend to be close to chewing my arm off when I sleep this long. Thank Goodness I had my oatmeal apple cake ready – which you guys were asking the recipe for. Here we go!

Apple Oatmeal Almond Cake (sugarfree, dairyfree, low fat / 4-5 servings):

105g glutenfree oats

90g almond flour

30g chia seeds

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp ground cinnamon & vanilla

2 apples cut in small pieces

4 eggs

6 eggwhites

Preheat oven to 200°C. Mix dry ingredients together. Add in apple pieces. Stirr in eggs/eggwhites. Lay out a baking form with a baking sheet and pour in the batter. Bake for about 15-20 minutes.

CakeYou can switch up the apples with any fruit you like – I made it with pumpkin and banana or berries before. For more sweetnes you can swap almond flour with coconut flour.

Banana Bake Oatmeal Bake

After about half of this loaf I was fueled enough to tackle a lunchtime CrossFit Class.

We practised Power Cleans for skill and then had an endless workout of 25 minutes AMRAP.

CrossFitSpeaking of CrossFit – 2 good news: I was accepted for the Advanced classes. We have 4 levels – Beginners, All Levels, Advanced and Competition level and I am thrilled I will be able to be part of the advanced level now. Also, I am officially announced as the Social Media Director for the box. I still wish so badly that this would be the only thing I can do – this job, my blog and training. We’ll see.

crossfitFor now, I have to prepare for the last Olympic Weightlifting Competition tomorrow and in one month we host the ‘Are You Though Enough’ Challenge. No, I am not participating, cause this is HUGE. Participants are athletes who competed at the European CrossFit Games, so yeah.

BUT – our blog will be ALL NEW by then and I will be able to make a grand and worthy blog documentation at and about the challenge. I will probably work 3 days through. On Monday after the event I will fly off to Spain and sleep at the beach for a week. Perfect.

Here’s the trailer – this is our box. WEIRD. And that’s why I like it so much.

So yes, these are the plans – I will travel to Tel Aviv 5 days before the challenge (November) and will stay in a lovely appartment right at the beach and right next to CrossFit Tel Aviv. Flying back on Friday and head right to the box for the challenge, work through Sunday night and fly off on Monday to Spain for a week. I want to try CrossFit Torremolinos and CrossFit Marbella there. But prior to that, I want to SLEEP, take walks at the beach and cook a lot of good and clean food. I am SO ready for some time off.

Happy Weekend friends!

What’s on your travel plans?

Will you give this cake a try? I can SO recommend it – basically it’s just eggy oats in cake form!

Earlybird or Nightowl? I am both. But I do love the early hours when everything is fresh and quiet.

I’ve started taking eggy oats to work when i have an early start since i read about it on here, so yeah, I’m keen to give your cake a go 🙂

I am such an early bird, but not much use to anyone in the evenings and nights.

I LOVE Roger – he is such a gentleman! Such a nice man, (and not bad to look at either 😉 )

Looks Awesome! When swapping for coconut flour, do you use same measurement as almond flour or less?

I love the trailer! yes weird but awesome:)
Your recipe is inspiring me to bake yummy things.. just bought some spice and pumpkin. Watch out people.
I’m a morning person by choice during the week since I prefer to workout early before the office. However I love staying up and partying all night when I’m allowed to and then I will sleep quite late! So I guess I would be both too lol

    • I am both too! Lol. I love being up early but as you, I love to party and sleeping in.

And right, isn’t the trailer so cool? My crew is crazy and that’s why I love them 🙂

Your travel/competition plans sound amazing. I absolutely love Tel Aviv! If you are looking to go out one night, Clara is the best club hands down.

Who thought I would ever write again. Link in Bio. ‚'In essence, love is the consistent embodiment of care, compassion, kindness, and joy toward yourself, your partner, and each other as two interconnected and supported beings. If you encounter those feelings, you can't work around your own vulnerability.

But: there is one emotion that is stronger than fear, and that is forgiveness. For power is never simply a possession but an exercise; power is about how we understand ourselves. If we can forgive, we can let go. If we can let go, we can detach. If we can detach, we find happiness.' #blogger #heartstories #detachment #happiness
