Weekend!! Friday!! Oh ma God, Oh ma God, Oh ma Gooooood, finnnnaaaallllyyyyyyy!!!!
Gimme it all. Oh hell yeah.
All of a sudden it turned cold here – talk about 8° C during the day. Means, I had to dig out my beanie.
I was sipping on champagne last night while sitting in the VIP box and watching the Swiss pride – Roger Federer – sweating. Nothing to complain here. Good company too – Christian, Mom and Sylvia, my Bestie. #sophisticatedbitches
All in all, it was kind of a perfect day – since I will work at a fair next week, I PRE-compensated some overtime and took the day off. I am really exhausted currently and all I needed was SLEEP – which I caught up on by 10 hours straight. Oh bliss.
Unfortunately I had to move my butt out of this cosy place as my stomach was calling my name LOUDLY and asked to be fed. I tend to be close to chewing my arm off when I sleep this long. Thank Goodness I had my oatmeal apple cake ready – which you guys were asking the recipe for. Here we go!
Apple Oatmeal Almond Cake (sugarfree, dairyfree, low fat / 4-5 servings):
105g glutenfree oats
90g almond flour
30g chia seeds
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon & vanilla
2 apples cut in small pieces
Preheat oven to 200°C. Mix dry ingredients together. Add in apple pieces. Stirr in eggs/eggwhites. Lay out a baking form with a baking sheet and pour in the batter. Bake for about 15-20 minutes.
After about half of this loaf I was fueled enough to tackle a lunchtime CrossFit Class.
We practised Power Cleans for skill and then had an endless workout of 25 minutes AMRAP.
Speaking of CrossFit – 2 good news: I was accepted for the Advanced classes. We have 4 levels – Beginners, All Levels, Advanced and Competition level and I am thrilled I will be able to be part of the advanced level now. Also, I am officially announced as the Social Media Director for the box. I still wish so badly that this would be the only thing I can do – this job, my blog and training. We’ll see.
For now, I have to prepare for the last Olympic Weightlifting Competition tomorrow and in one month we host the ‘Are You Though Enough’ Challenge. No, I am not participating, cause this is HUGE. Participants are athletes who competed at the European CrossFit Games, so yeah.
BUT – our blog will be ALL NEW by then and I will be able to make a grand and worthy blog documentation at and about the challenge. I will probably work 3 days through. On Monday after the event I will fly off to Spain and sleep at the beach for a week. Perfect.

So yes, these are the plans – I will travel to Tel Aviv 5 days before the challenge (November) and will stay in a lovely appartment right at the beach and right next to CrossFit Tel Aviv. Flying back on Friday and head right to the box for the challenge, work through Sunday night and fly off on Monday to Spain for a week. I want to try CrossFit Torremolinos and CrossFit Marbella there. But prior to that, I want to SLEEP, take walks at the beach and cook a lot of good and clean food. I am SO ready for some time off.
