But hey – always combine pet peeves with some marvelousness – makes everything better.

So this weekend consisted of packing my stuff in Zurich together with my BFF Sylvia. I started Friday morning in Basel with lifting some heavy stuff at the gym. WH…?? Yeah. It’s what makes me feel good. And with all that shit ahead, I needed it.

Arriving in Zurich, I started to pack my jeans. WTFFFFF. Only Jeans in this sweet little box?? Holy mother of Jeans obsession. Considering these are only the pairs from Zurich and I have about 15 more pairs in Basel, I would say – I don’t know. CRAZYSHIT, maybe?!

move

BUT I collected a massive amount of stuff to donate. I’m good, right??

When Sylvia arrived, I cooked up dinner and then we went out to see the soccer game. I am not going to talk about the game. And you WON’T ask why, k? Tks.

At least we had nice lounge seats to watch from….. 🙂

We skipped the alcohol and sweets this weekend but practised our selfie-skills. 30 minutes, hysterical laughs and 4567865743674 selfies later we managed to get some in…..

Hi-la-ri-ous.

Hi-la-ri-ous.

We got up early the next day, had breakfast and took the chance to do some shopping when the shops and streets were still empty.

Eggs, Eggwhites, Oats, Berries

LucieErrr…..yes – I bought 2 new pairs of jeans. Sorry, but show me a Diesel Jeans and I am not myself anymore. C’mon, I threw out so much stuff to donate!! Don’t tell me. I know I am an addict. But you know, I can always stop if I want to. #idletalk

Jeans

And sneakers. Oh, I adore them.

Postshopping we started the madness.

After a few hours a break was needed. At the lake. And with a snack.

Chatting, sunbathing, swimming, reading trash magazines. Perfect.

We spent the rest of the evening packing everything. EVERYTHING.

At 11pm – and after crashing a box full of plates and cutlery STRAIGHT on my toe (goodbye plates – hello immoral cursing for downright 5 minutes) I collapsed in my bed and passed out in 0,000067 seconds.

Sunday morning we were up bright and early again, finished the last stuff, had breakfast and went for another swim.

Breakfast Lake Lake And then the roadtrip home! We only took a few small things with us this weekend. In 2 weeks everything will be transported to Basel. I am seriously thinking about secretly disappearing until July 12th. I swear, if I would get paid for every move I made in my life, I would live in luxury. BUT my new home actually isn’t so far away from that (at least for me)! I will make a little video walk-around once everything is nice and neat.

Sunday night dinner:

Bowl of Tuna, Broccoli, Cherry Tomatoes

Have a favulous Monday friends!!

Jeans or dresses? I like dresses. But my butt/legs love Jeans. Diesel Jeans. SO MUCH.

Sneakers or FlipFlops? FlipFlops. And Sneakers. Ok, FlipFlops. Actually, barefeet. YES, barefeet. All day every day.

Meat or Fish? Lunchtime Meat, Dinnertime Fish.

I loathe packing for holidays so I don’t even want to imagine what packing up a home is like!! I’m normally more of a jeans girl but in the summer, I’m all about the dresses, shorts and skirts…the less fabric the better! I only really wear sneakers when I’m working out so I’m going to have to go with flip flops…which is why I can’t fathom leaving my toenails unpainted 😉

I am currently in the process of moving to and it is such a pain! I am not a fan of it at all and I haven’t even packed my clothes away yet! I can guarantee my jeans situation is just as bad and I am totally not a jeans person!

  3. Kim says:

I’m a weirdo and actually love the whole act of moving – packing and unpacking included!!!
I rarely wear jeans except in the winter – summer is sundresses and shorts!!!
All of your food looks so light and tasty!

  4. Absolutely rockin’ the boyfriend jeans- Look at you. But not that you need anymore!!

Speaking of jeans, my German friend loved the Aussie brand jeans when she was in Australia- Come with an empty suitcase! I’m moving soon and I’m already dreading it! Meat or fish? Um both?

    • Oh my Lord, I am already concerned how I will handle the clothes situation when I am over there……when I came back from Berlin I had to pay 300 CHF for too heavy suitcases!

  5. Moving is so much work!!! I’m STILL getting moved into our new place. I still have a couple of boxes at the old place that I need to get out this week. It’s just no fun! But moving into a new place is always nice after you’re done hauling everything over there!

  6. Bridget says:

Love your new sneakers! Nike is my favorite!!

  7. It has been a long time since I have had to move, thankfully! Everything you have had to eat looks so delicious. I am especially loving those breakfast oats. It looks like the perfect texture for me!

  8. I’m in love with your new jeans — very good choice 😉 I actually need to go through my closet soon and get rid of some things so that I can make room for new things. I hate clutter. And I hate packing. The last time I moved, I promised myself I was never going to move again because of how much of a pain in the butt it was. And I wasn’t even moving furniture! I left it all at my parents’ house and started from scratch — but it was STILL a pain. Ugh. Misery.

    • Aww, thank you Hunn – I think we share some similar fashion taste 🙂

Yup, I agree. Packing and moving is a pain in the butt. SO glad when it’s over.

  9. Seriously? You bought MORE jeans?! You have more clothes than anyone I know. LOL!

I wish I could have been there to help. That’s nice you two got to spend breaks at the river… bittersweet, no? You’ll be back soon enough. Love you!

    • Oh my Gosh. You know my closet. I forgot about that, now I am debunked 🙂
Yeah. I am crazy, clothes crazy, I know!

And yes, very bittersweet. The empty apartment was the worst. Like it lost its soul. It will get better!!

  10. All of this is soon to come for me… Only I’m not looking forward to the new place itself either [yet??]. Except for the huge kitchen. So I figure if I spend every free minute either walking in the park nearby or in the kitchen for the next two years I’ll be fine?! (:
Your jeans box = my dresses + tights box. I hardly have an jeans but dresses, oh my. Show me a coral coloured or elsewise awesome dress and I forgot about all others hanging in my closet unworn.

    • Haha, oh yes!! I totally forget about everything in my closet that looks exactly the same, and is unworn and I STILL buy it. Hm. C’mon, it’s normal for girls, right? Right? 🙂

  11. cottercrunch says:

can i be your beastie and hoard your jeans?!! PLEASE!

  12. I can’t believe you went shopping for more stuff to pack and that you actually bought jeans. Ha! You are a wild one, and I’m glad you had your bestie there with you.

  13. Julie says:

Your outfits are gorgeous and those jeans are worth it. I think I need nicer jeans that I can ride a bike on.

  14. Heather says:

    Good Morning,

I just tried emailing about the LBC program:) I have also talked to them, but was wondering if I could get some insight from you before Making the commitment.

    Thank you, Heather Baedke

  15. Loving those jeans on your girl! I just discovered your blog and realised we have exactly the same name spelt exactly the same way too!
