It’s What I Ate Wednesday!!
I don’t know about you, but….I am excited today. Why? It’s my last day at work until TUESDAY!! Tonight, I will drive off to a road trip with Mom to Czechoslovakia. WTF, you ask? My Mom’s BF is Czech, and he owns a house very close to Prague. Now he stays here and works, while we go there on a Ladies-Sports-Wellness-Shopping-Prosecco vacation. I don’t complain.
WAIT. That’s not all. Since last Wednesday, I’ve been waiting for the decision on an appartment I was looking at to rent. AND. I. GOT. IT. It is one of the most beautiful and perfect appartments I ever looked at for me and they picked ME!!!!!!! I am OVER the moon. Guys – the kitchen is as big as my current appartment. HUGE. Country-shabby-chic-style. A dream. With big windows and a big balcony right there and tons tons of light. I will be able to go back to the times when I hosted legendary kitchen parties at home with the neighbourhood and all my friends. (Don’t judge me for thinking about partying prior to cooking).
But before I we get all too excited here, I join in on today’s WIAW – thank you Jenn for this weekly host!!
I will present my meals from Sunday, cause somehow they did not fit in my Monday post.
Soooo, Sunday. I slept in until about 8:30 and then went through my morning routine – yes, I even do this on weekends. A little preworkout snack……
I had my workout date with Vanessa at 10 am – we went for an 8k run and then practised handstands and Double Unders (Jump Rope) in the street. I added a little WOD later with 3 rounds of squats, pushups, single unders and sprints. I know, I posted this pic already on Monday, but you have to look at it again. You and I can NOT even believe how ready I was for breakfast after:
Then I did things…..ya know these days when time goes by and 2 hours later you feel you were busy, but somehow forgot what you did? No? Ok, then it’s me getting older or blonder. Anyway – I guess it included blog-reading/work, laundry and so. (Gosh…)
The important thing is, that I had lunch in the middle of the day. Do you have those days when lunch happens at 3:30 pm? No? Ok, I am officially weird. But who cares about my weirdness when I tell you about this delicious omelette I made….
It was soooo good, and it MUST happen again soon! And YES, I love the burnt touch on it! I actually thought about making a video tutorial for omelettes. Who wants to come and film me? (Silence)
Ok, sorry. Then you will have to make your omelettes on your own……
After ‘lunch’, I met up with a friend to have some important chats and tea/coffee in the sun. It was 20°C outside and I could smell summer!! Dinner was a holy mess of white fish, veggies and plain minced tomatoes, aka tomato sauce.Nope, this wasn’t the end of the day yet. I made sure I get my chocolate bomb in for the day. Cacao Stevia Quark with Almond Butter and 1-3 pieces of my all time favorite dark chocolate (this one is actually meant for cooking, but I eat it like this.) Did I mention I am not normal? Have a fantastic day sweeties!
Are you sure you don’t want to make a video of me while I cook an omelette? I swear I’ll behave (as much as I know how to).
What do you eat preworkout IF you do? I normally don’t, but 10am is too late in the day not to eat beforehand.
