Quick annaouncement: Due to the recent changes in my private life, I had to update my ABOUT ME page – make sure to check it out! I think it says way more about my current life than the one before.

It’s Foodparty Day. I know you’re obsessed. I am too. Thanks to the lovely Jenn we can live this obsession legally and in public.

WIAW GOES GREENSo today you get to see AGAIN my Monday – It seems like the only  day I can actually remember to shoot my food. #bloggerproblems

Ok, wait, I have to actually remember what I did on Monday. I did sleep in until 7am (BLISS!!), went through my morning and detox routine, which is:

– Meditation 15 minutes

– Dry brushing and Oil Pulling

– Hot Lemon Water & Apple Cider Vinegar & Fruit Juice Shot

– Shower

– Cycling to work or gym

Arriving at work. I wasn’t hungry yet, so I waited until about 9:30 – that was when I definitely started to get hangry – hangry like wanting to eat everything in sight. I don’t know about you, but I am not the most pleasant person when I’m hungry. A big piece of my Oatmeal Bake CAKE had to be demolished.

Oatmeal Bake After more hours of work, I went to my Yoga Studio for the lunchtime class – which normally is middle-intense, sometimes even very relaxing. But this Monday?? OMG my shoulders!!!! Shaking. I was dripping sweat.

You bet I needed lunch FAST! No cooking please. Raw veggies, berries, leftover homemade hummus and premade sweet potato beef burgers thrown together to a snack plate. The burgers were to die for, holy yummers. IMG_3650 Snack PlateMore hours of work, and then I was ready for a dessert kind of snack….A spoonful of coconut butter and a sesame chocolate cracker. I love the butter, but I can not wait until my Ninja Blender FINALLY arrives (and I don’t kill it the moment I plug it in) and I can make my own.

Coconut Nut Butter CrackersAfter work I met up with my friend and Crossfit Buddy Vanessa at Crossfit. The thing with Crossfit is, that you never know what comes and it ALWAYS challenges you – cause you never do the same thing twice. Talk about working out of the comfort zone every single time.

Warm Up: Run / 10 Push Ups / 10 Sit Ups / 10 Kettlebell Push Press / 10 Burpees (2 times through)

Strength Part: 1×8 & 4×5 Deadlift / Chest to Bar Pull Ups / Tricep Dips

WOD 12 minutes: 40 Wall Balls (14kg)

AMRAP – (as many rounds as possible):

7 knees to elbow / 7 barbell push jerks / 7 target burpees (20cm).

Carry me home please? !!

I did practise more handstand after the class and it’s coming!! It’s so exciting. I can easily get up on my own now and stay – I still need the wall though.

I was SO ready for dinner. I made my alltime favorite food: EGGS. It turned out to be a Quinoa Spinach Omelette with some unpictured codfish on the side. Quinoa OmelettAnd I warmed up a Questbar in the microwave for dessert. End of day.

I’m pretty much a nightmare when I get too hungry, so yeah… I make sure to always keep food around at all times to not expose people to that monster 😆 The world is a better place when I’m well fed 😀 And it’s currently too late in the day and I’m too tired to remember what I had for breakfast this morning, buuuut I can tell you that I’m definitely looking forward to my bowl of oats tomorrow morning. Gooood night ❤

  3. 2 things – 9:30 breakfast? Girl, how on earth did you not eat your arm (and maybe even a leg) off by then? I woud already have 2 meals demolished & long gone by than LOL. I’m impressed & one more thing -how dare you forget to mention our fabulous talk. HA HA kidding 🙂 Heading to check out our new and improved about me!

    • I know – and this is really unusual for me. I normally eat at 7 when I don’t workout, or latest 8am – so 9:30 is all kinds of crazy lol 🙂
      I LOVED our talk – actually, just going to write you now!!

    Oh hangryness…I’m like you- I don’t eat breakfast straight away but the moment I get hungry..all hell breaks loose!

  5. Don’t get me started on my current hangriness… These past days have been nuts for me in that regard. I did my very best not to snap at anybody at work. It’s not me
    Breakfast today was the same old, same old: cocoa banana oat bran with coconut and almond butter. Hit the spot and yes, kept me saturated and satisfied until lunch :).

  6. I’m definitely an unpleasant person to be around when I’m hungry, so I do everything I can to avoid that situation 😉 And considering that it’s 7:00 am, breakfast hasn’t happened yet…ask me again in an hour!

    You are so disciplined with your morning routine! I would LOVE to be that dedicated…but I go to bed too late…and I love sleeping in way too much =P. I do get a bit psycho after not eating for a while…I’m usually pretty good at keeping it inside though. ha ha. I HAVE to have breakfast…today I had a treat…choc chip pancakes out with my mum. So good. Usually I have chia pudding, or oats, goji berries, dates and coconut (sometimes cacao) roughly blended and served with almond or coconut milk.

  9. ahha you are so cute HANGRY! How is fasted mornings going? I cannot do them, I have tried but I get SO CRANKY!!! Happy to see you are steering forward in life lots of love C

    • I do very well fasted. Actually I tried to eat before my workouts but I can’t – I feel sick. I just need to rest after food, even if it is a small snack 🙂

  11. Lucieee- hope you are well, friend! So much deliciousness in this post, especially those Belvita biscuits! I’m impressed that the chocolate used is over 70%. Whenever I see dark chocolate biscuits, it’s usually around 40-50%. I’ve been pretty routine with my food choices lately, with overnight oats being my go-to breakfast and apples with nut butter being my snack of choice…if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it right ;)!

      Yes, that is pretty amazing I thought that too. I love these – though it’s hard to open a pack of 4 and then only eat 2 – almost never happens, lol.

    I actually never get “hangry” I literally go from the loudest person in the world to super duper quiet. It’s really weird, but people can always tell that I’m super hungry when I get really quiet.
    It’s an odd thing. I can’t wait for you to get your blender – just because I seriously can’t go a day without mine. I think I’m possibly addicted to my vitamix.

    • Yes! I get very quiet, but if someone talks to me I snap at them. Really nice, lol.
      Oh I know – I feel like half a person without a blender! Now that is weird too.
