It’s Foodparty Day. I know you’re obsessed. I am too. Thanks to the lovely Jenn we can live this obsession legally and in public.
Ok, wait, I have to actually remember what I did on Monday. I did sleep in until 7am (BLISS!!), went through my morning and detox routine, which is:
– Meditation 15 minutes
– Dry brushing and Oil Pulling
– Hot Lemon Water & Apple Cider Vinegar & Fruit Juice Shot
– Cycling to work or gym
Arriving at work. I wasn’t hungry yet, so I waited until about 9:30 – that was when I definitely started to get hangry – hangry like wanting to eat everything in sight. I don’t know about you, but I am not the most pleasant person when I’m hungry. A big piece of my Oatmeal Bake CAKE had to be demolished.
After more hours of work, I went to my Yoga Studio for the lunchtime class – which normally is middle-intense, sometimes even very relaxing. But this Monday?? OMG my shoulders!!!! Shaking. I was dripping sweat.
You bet I needed lunch FAST! No cooking please. Raw veggies, berries, leftover homemade hummus and premade sweet potato beef burgers thrown together to a snack plate. The burgers were to die for, holy yummers. More hours of work, and then I was ready for a dessert kind of snack….A spoonful of coconut butter and a sesame chocolate cracker. I love the butter, but I can not wait until my Ninja Blender FINALLY arrives (and I don’t kill it the moment I plug it in) and I can make my own.
After work I met up with my friend and Crossfit Buddy Vanessa at Crossfit. The thing with Crossfit is, that you never know what comes and it ALWAYS challenges you – cause you never do the same thing twice. Talk about working out of the comfort zone every single time.
Warm Up: Run / 10 Push Ups / 10 Sit Ups / 10 Kettlebell Push Press / 10 Burpees (2 times through)
Strength Part: 1×8 & 4×5 Deadlift / Chest to Bar Pull Ups / Tricep Dips
WOD 12 minutes: 40 Wall Balls (14kg)
AMRAP – (as many rounds as possible):
7 knees to elbow / 7 barbell push jerks / 7 target burpees (20cm).
Carry me home please? !!
I did practise more handstand after the class and it’s coming!! It’s so exciting. I can easily get up on my own now and stay – I still need the wall though.
I was SO ready for dinner. I made my alltime favorite food: EGGS. It turned out to be a Quinoa Spinach Omelette with some unpictured codfish on the side. And I warmed up a Questbar in the microwave for dessert. End of day.
