Happy Monday and thank you to Katie for hosting the marvelousness!
I hope your weekend’s been great! Mine consisted of mostly resting which was a lot more wonderful than I actually thought. I really enjoyed the break, my back started to heal and my body was obviously very thankful for the break – the bloating went away, all the water retention disappeared and I slept every night like a baby. Bliss.
I had a friend over on Friday and cooked some yummy dinner for her:

On Saturday morning I slept in and was STARVING when waking up. I’m keeping my eats decent without the workouts, but still fueling well. Quinoa Oat Eggwhites Porridge with blueberries and quark on top – which I pimped with coconut flour and cacao powder AND sprinkles. I eat dairy once in a while again – so far I had no issues at all eating it. Later in the day I went for a walk…..…and then I made a spontaneous VLOG! I wanted to do this for so long, actually with a specific subject, but it just didn’t happen so far. So what you get today is a video of me talking random stuff which might bore you to death, but as said, this just happened out of nowhere and I am Swiss, so have a heart with my English. Actually, I had no idea what I’m doing. Oh and the freeze – haha. Stop looking up bitch.
To embarrass myself a little more, I show you a pic of how I walked around all Weekend. Note – our appartment is always very warm, but my feet are ALWAYS cold. That’s why I am wearing sheep feet. And the clothes mess is AGAIN not from me.
And that’s how my back looks like….
Dinner was a big bowl of leftovers from the codfish and asparagus, followed by a dessert plate – chocolate no fat quark and 100% cacao dark chocolate. Heaven. Sunday morning I was starving AGAIN like a monster. I really don’t know where this is coming from. I made Protein Blueberry Pancakes and topped them with pb2/soy yogurt and of course sprinkles!! I finally caught up with Bloglovin, cleaned a little, went for a leisure bike ride and did some meal prep….…and experminented in the kitchen and ate my new recipe for lunch. It’s a winner and it’s coming tomorrow!! Ok, that’s enough of Lucie-overload, I let you move on with your week! Have a good one!!
I embrace my restdays more and more and after this week I will take 2-3 restdays a week for sure. What about you? Are you resting enough?
