Spill it Sunday #1

Happy Sunday!

Not too much words today – I’m still in recovery from Friday’s party! More on that tomorrow….now lets’ have the Spill it Sunday for the first time today thanks to Mr. ARMAN!

What is your cultural background?

I’m Swiss. Sorry, that’s it. So boring I know!

2. When was your most memorable birthday and why?

When I turned 30!! Believe me guys, turning 30 is GREAT!! We had the best party ever and I can not remember when I danced more and for longer than at that night. And the best thing – life only got better since turning 30 – so keep looking forward to it!

3. What is the #1 thing you wish to accomplish in your lifetime?

Being fully recovered from my Eating Disorder. Still a long way to go and hard work, but it’s in progress!!

4. What is the stupidest thing you’ve ever done?

I burnt down the microwave in our office. Yeah. True. I wanted to make microwave popcorn and forgot the plastic cover in the microwave. This thing had a fight with the paperbag of the popcorn and started to melt. Big smoke. Huge firetruck approaching with blue lights and sirenes. 4 Firemen running. Me. Blonde. In high heels. Panicking. Waving and screaming ‘false alarm, false alarm!’ Hysterical. Embarrassed. Insurance overloaded. Haha.

5. Who was your childhood hero?

ASTERIX!! I was SO in love with him.

79824.gifHappy Sunday and I see you tomorrow for MIMM with great party pics!!

The snow on your site is so cute! Hehe love the microwave story. I once forgot to take a spoon out of a bowl in the microwave… I shouldn’t be allowed near kitchen appliances!

  2. Ha Ha Ha – your microwave story is too funny. We all have our blonde moments 🙂

ahahahah so true being swiss is so boring. I always been jealous of my friend at uni being from different cultural background speaking many languages and having travel all around the world…. when i was the only one 100./. from Wallis that spend holiday in the mountain and eat everthings topped with grated raclette cheese and thinking it s normal 😉
I m also suffering from eating disorder and i know i will always have it …. (more than 15 years) so the big thing i would like to accomplish will be to be able to sit down at restaurant or at a family diner without feeling like a food radar 🙂 and do my first full marathon for my 30 next year 🙂
    have a nice snowy we

  4. Lucie I love the photo from your 30th…mainly because you and your two friends all have the same hairdo..except a different colour! Lets hope Amanda doesn’t read your microwave story- she might swear it off completely haha!

Just by reading your blog and seeing your progress- Number 3 will no doubt be accomplished. 🙂

Ooh I like the snow effect!
I can’t wait until I’m thirty – “thirty, flirty and thriving” like in 13 going on 30 ..

Who thought I would ever write again. Link in Bio. ‚'In essence, love is the consistent embodiment of care, compassion, kindness, and joy toward yourself, your partner, and each other as two interconnected and supported beings. If you encounter those feelings, you can't work around your own vulnerability.

But: there is one emotion that is stronger than fear, and that is forgiveness. For power is never simply a possession but an exercise; power is about how we understand ourselves. If we can forgive, we can let go. If we can let go, we can detach. If we can detach, we find happiness.' #blogger #heartstories #detachment #happiness
