If you read last week’s TBT post, you had a good laugh about some old pics of me….but I saved one for you today which is THE laugh of the day.
That was a dress up party, where we were supposed to be some kind of sportstar. We went as Aerobic Chicks. I spare you with the sight of our neon-colored strings we wore on the bottom of this ‘costume’…….but hey, we placed 3rd!!
Ok, so now that we started off with some old stuff, I want to tell you, that I had a NICE date on Wednesday night in the VIP Area with this guy….
It’s a little lie. We did sit in the VIP area, but it was only me looking at him, I don’t think he noticed me, haha 🙂 Roger Federer was playing at the Swiss Indoors in Basel. He obviously loves to play in his hometown and we loved to have him here!
But now on to the weekend! I had my Bestie over in Zurich on Friday and I loved it! SHe took her afternoon off work and we went to do some shopping for her (I did enough lately! All I needed was socks 🙂 )

When we got home in the evening, we threw on homewear and I rushed into the kitchen as we were starving. Sylvia kept me entertained while I was cooking up some delicious food….
I sprinkled it with the coconut chips I got in Sara’s package and the made it perfect! It was a little spicy and the chips gave a touch of sweetness which was perfect
We had some dessert too – I was so lucky to get to try the dessert bars from Rythm108! A review will follow soon – finally a GREAT healthy product made in Switzerland!
Saturday morning I was up early and starving….and since we scheduled brunch with another friend and Sandro only at 11:30, I decided to have food, cause there was no way I could wait that long…
We met up later at our favorite coffee place to have more tea and coffee and some food.
A quick walk to the post office brought me this….
A package from Amanda! I love everything – especially the MISTO spray. You can add your favorite oil and then use it like a normal cooking spray. I already used it for cooking and it’s perfect! One thing did not make it into the pic, because they were inhaled 1 minute after opening the package….
4 people standing over this package and stuffing their faces with Canadian Apple Chips. Now that was a nice image 🙂 At least I understand now what the obsession is all about. They’re REALLY good.
After saying goodbye, Sandro and me went off to do groceries and we kept being outside, since it was a LOVELY and warm fall day. Though I did move as LITTLE as possible, cause it was my restday and my body really felt tired. So hanging around in the sun it was and walking JUST when it was undeniable. Until it was time for dinner…
I used to restrict on my resdays in the past (IF there were any restday at all) – I thought, if I don’t work out, I don’t really need food. Gosh, IMPOSSIBLE thoughts today. I figure I sometimes eat even MORE on my restdays. It seems like the rest-or growing days catch up on me and I am ok with that. Body wants food, give that body food.
When I woke up on Sunday, it was grey and raining outside. We had one hour plus, cause of the time change and I decided to do a home workout – 45 Spinning and some strength. I had a whole day of home-office-clearing-out to look at so it was good to get some movement in!
Our home office was a nightmare and I am SO happy it is clean now! Sandro came down with a terrible cold and feeling sick, so we spent the day inside and I did some experimenting in the kitchen. Recipes coming!
Dinner was nice and fresh – I went for the coconut curry again, this time with baked codfish and topped with dried tomatoes! So good.
