Happy Friday! After letting out all my struggles and thoughts at you in yesterday’s post, I feel so much better – thank you all for listening! I got some very touching emails and comments and I can not thank you all enough for this amazing support.
Let’s talk about some happy stuff today since obviously weekend is just around the corner!!

Fall clearly arrived, and I must say, I am pleased. Not only gives great chances to include pumpkin in everything that we eat, but also the weather makes some nice changes. We had a beautiful sunny fall day on Monday, and I spontaneously went for a run over lunchtime. I totally forgot that we actually have a shower in the office, so this was the first time I used it!
As we speak – I am making progress with my goal to lean out! It goes very VERY slow and asks for a LOT of patience and trust, but slowly I am getting there and it’s so thrilling! Maybe I will post some progress pics one day, but I am not sure yet. So this one for now, where you can’t see anything anyway🙂
This was in the middle of this kick ass Back and Chest workout – I swear, I was completely knocked down after. Especially cause I added 30 minutes Interval on the Stairclimber….phew!
I love to add in these Cardio Blasts between the sets. Not only are they efficient, but it makes the workout a lot more fun!
Now on to some food! I was asked by several readers for the recipe of the frozen whipped cottage cheese. Now this is again not really a recipe, what I do is:
Take 200g low fat Cottage Curd Cheese
Put all the ingredients in a blender and mash.
If you eat it right away, it has the consistency of whipped cream or creamy greek yogurt – if you leave it in the fridge overnight, it gets the consistency of parfait. Anyhow – it is SO GOOD.
And this is a shoutout to my friend Anna, blogging over at Your Healthy Place! She is hosting the #selfcaresept challenge, where she encourages everyone to do something for themselves, to practise SELF CARE. I absolutely love the idea and already checked in with several things I did for myself. Bonus? There will be a giveaway!
I.e., on Tuesday, the weather was nasty, it was cold and raining and I was SO tired – so I cycled home at lunch and took a nap – blissful. The rest of the afternoon I worked from home which was just really cosy and warm. I love when it’s raining, I am home and I know I don’t have to go anywhere anymore🙂
And last night Sandro and me celebrated our 4 years anniversary! We had a coupon for a restaurant where you can eat great meat, and that’s what we did.

And then we shared MEAT. We had a HUGE Rib Eye Steak of which I probably had 1/3 and Sandro had the rest, but WOW…it was perfect.
Also the sides – this was the FIRST restaurant that served Sweet Potato Fries! Sandro ordered a portion and I picked a handful, plus had spinach – which wasn’t boring at all, it was HEAVENLY!! Seriously, this meal was absolutely delicious.
Happy Weekend to all of you and especially to my blogger friends who are at the Healthy Living Summit 2013 in Minneapolis – I am soooo jealous that I can not be there!! Have a blast!!
