I hope you had a fantastic weekend! It’s time for some marvelousness and how better to get it then with the MIMM party hosted by my favorite DIVA?
Hm…not so sure how to describe this weekend. I had really great times at 2 fun and lovely events, but the rest….was kind of off. Let’s just say, that as much as I practise positive thinking, it’s not always everything unicorns and rainbows in my life, so this weekend I just battled with some negativity in my head. No relapse and nothing ED related, but I just got a little overwhelmed. But let’s start with the fun, because there was lots of it!
Friday morning, I started my day early with a short and intense sprint session at the lake. It was beautiful. I really don’t want the summer to end, I just love these bright and fresh mornings!
Later on and as always on Friday Lunchtime in Zurich, I joined the Bootcamp class. One of my favorite workouts of the week!
I was starving when I came home – thank God Lunch was prepared already.
In the evening, I went with my Bestie to see Robbie Williams live!! He is pretty famous here in Europe and I am an ‘old’ fan – and he did not disappoint! Besides that the weather was perfect for an outdoor concert, Robbie just is a born Entertainer and I love his music.
I took a restday on Saturday and slept in. It was so nice and I felt really relaxed. Even though, I just felt kind of blue and I had no idea why. I just couldn’t feel my usual energy and had no motivation to do anything at all. Even though, Sandro and me went to enjoy some sun at the lake which was nice. My moodlifter of the day was my date with the girlscrew at night! Unfortunately one of us 5 got sick and had to stay home, but the rest of us had a blast. We started with some appetizers and predrinks at home….
…and then headed off to an outdoor festival just around the corner of our friend’s house, where we enjoyed music, drinks and chats.
I had to leave a little earlier to catch the tram and got home shortly after midnight. Before we met again for breakfast, I got in a great leg workout and a run with Sandro at the lake. I love my workouts after a restday, my energy is just even better.
I proposed to have brunch picnic style at the lake and already bought all the stuff on Saturday for us. We met down at the lake and enjoyed our breakfast in the sun. Of course, I brought my oats and omelette 🙂
Later, when I was home, some of the blue feelings creeped back in and I decided to just take a nap, prep my meals, blog, cook dinner and then move on to a new week. I am not sure where this minimini-depression is coming from, but I don’t freak out either like I used to do in the past. We all have our ‘blah’-days and they pass – and I know when a new day starts, things look different.
