First of all I want to thank ALL the commenters of yesterday’s post about how to handle situations wit ill/sick looking people/instructors at the gym. I was really unsure about the topic and I knew it is a tricky subject – I loved all your honest opinions and views. Thank you so much!
But now it’s – FRIDAY!! WEEKEND!!
I hope you are excited! I am. Not only because I will rock at the ROBBIE WILLIAMS concert tonight, I will also spend some time with the man AND my ladycrew is coming to Zurich! They will stay Saturday night and Sunday morning and I know we are going to have a blast.
A few favorite moments of this week and also from last Sunday….
Having a wonderful Sunday in Basel with Sandro. As you know, we ran the trail in the morning and then chilled at home. The weather was so beautiful and it was still early afternoon (the nice side if you get up early – the day is so long) – so we grabbed the bikes and cycled up the hill to catch nice views, sunshine and a drink.
There was also a field of flowers and I LOVE them. Farmers plant flowers so you can go and cut them yourself and leave the money in a basket. I picked such a beautiful bouquet and it lasted ALL week. Everyday I had a nice reminder of this lovely day.
I spent more time outdoor on Monday morning! Gaynor, a good friend from England was in Basel and we caught up on a run. I picked her up at 6am and we ran and ‘bootcamped’ along the river. It was a great meet up and workout!
The days are getting shorter, but the morning views on the bike to the gym are still beautiful.
During my workout, the sun starts to sneak through the gym windows while I am buried behind humongous dumbbells🙂
I finished all of my workouts at the gym this week with a good foam roll session. I know it hurts, but my body thanks me for the extra massage time!
Favorite breakfast of this week: Blueberry Vanilla Protein Shake, followed (later) by Eggy Oats. 3 eggwhites, 20g glutenfree oats, 2 tsp ground flaxseed, 700 tsp of cinnamon and vanilla. Cook as a scramble in a skillet with coconut oil. Awwwyeah.
