Friday Favorites – Random Things

Happy Friday! Happy Weekend!

Today’s Friday Favorites post will be total random stuff. I took pics here and there, so I am just throwing them all in here paired with a few words.

Sunday last weekend: On of my best friends, Cécile, opened her own little gym near Basel. Cécile and me got to know each other when she was my boss at a gym, years ago – I was the receptionist 🙂 We’ve been close friends since then and she always was a great support in my recovery! Now she owns her own little gym and I couldn’t be happier for her. It is beautiful and bright and well equipped!

The proud owner – love this woman.

After 3 days in a row getting up at 5am to cycle to the gym or doing a sprintrun outside, it was so blissful to sleep in on Thursday.

I definitely enjoyed some nice eats this week! I went out for dinner with Markus, one of my Besties and I had a perfectly grilled tunas teak with steamed vegetables on the side.

Also, I enjoyed my green juice once in a while. On the balcony…

A lean and green dinner with the man last night….

Almond Butter was high in my snacks and treats this week:

Not to forget the beauty stuff!

I am  superthrilled how my nails are growing and how strong they are. Since getting off the laxatives, they finally start to look and be healthy!! They used to be paper-thin and I could just rip them off, but not anymore.

I am so in love with the Bi-Oil. I don’t have any scars or stretch marks, but you never know 🙂 seriously, it just feels and smells so good and I love to use it on my décolleté and belly.

Also, this is probably the OLDEST cream ever….the good old Nivea Creme. I must say, that I start to use up my original cosmetics since I want to incorporate more organic cosmetics in my routine. But I still love this cream for my feet and hands – I use it every night before bed and it works wonders for smooth foot skin.

My favorite website currently: The online cup chart. We do not use cup measurements, so the american/canadian recipes always require to convert things. With this chart it is a lot more easier.

Foto 2That’s it for today, I wish you all a marvelous weekend!!

What was your favorite food from this week?

What color are your nails at the moment?

Any fun plans for the weekend?

  2. Gorgeous ring!! I absolutely love that!

  3. I love your nails, when I got off all the pills my nails, hair and skin got MUCH better! Perks of being healthy! Loving all the green in your life 🙂 Sending you lots of yummy eats + fun times this week! Love + shine CourtStar

  4. Lisa says:

Mmmm…loving those fresh green juices! Looks splendid.
And I’m so pleased to hear about the improvement with your nails! That’s great. I remember when mine were super flimsy too. Not a great look;)
    Have a beautiful Friday!

  5. You know you’re a HLB when the sight of green juices spurs a craving! I haven’t had one in months but I may have to change that this weekend! Aside from getting in a juice at some point, my weekend plans include drinks out with friends tonight & dinner out tomorrow, family lunch on Sunday and a trip to the cinema…the rest we shall see 🙂

  6. Oh Nivea cream… so much sentimental value. That was the main cream we had around when I was growing up, so it’ll always have a special spot in my heart. I actually haven’t used any in forever, and you’re making me want to pick up a small tub of it… And that’s so awesome that your body is getting healthier and stronger! My nails are actually in between polishes at the moment, but I’m thinking they’ll be blue with a gunmetal accent nail (again) before long.

    Happy Friday love!

  7. Red nails right now, but that may be changing today. Congrats to your friend on opening her own gym….how exciting! Happy Friday!

  8. Nancy says:

I really like tuna, but I’ve never had tuna steaks before! This may sound like a weird (and probably obvious question) but does it taste like……canned tuna?

  9. kepotts says:

Any meal eaten outdoors is a good one 🙂 And your ring is GORGEOUS! Your friend’s gym looks perfect, it’s a dream of mine to open one like that someday. Happy Friday Lucie!

  10. Can I come eat at your place ;). Your meals look delicious!! Bio oil is my go-to product. I love it!

  11. I’ve been noticing improvements in my nails lately too – it’s so nice that they can actually get past my fingertips without cracking these days! They’re naked at the moment, except for some grow strong polish from essie – trying to get them even tougher. I may end up painting them this weekend though – Essie Bikini So Teeny, I haven’t worn that one in a while.

  12. My nails have clear glitter on them…when in the sauce…the clearness turn red 🙂 It’s super cool!

    I still haven’t juiced. Gah!

Who thought I would ever write again. Link in Bio. ‚'In essence, love is the consistent embodiment of care, compassion, kindness, and joy toward yourself, your partner, and each other as two interconnected and supported beings. If you encounter those feelings, you can't work around your own vulnerability.

But: there is one emotion that is stronger than fear, and that is forgiveness. For power is never simply a possession but an exercise; power is about how we understand ourselves. If we can forgive, we can let go. If we can let go, we can detach. If we can detach, we find happiness.' #blogger #heartstories #detachment #happiness
