Happy Monday friends!!

Let’s jump right into the weekend recap without further small talk.
Friday was my day off, and also the civil marriage of Sandro’s brother. I started my day with a good hour of Tara Stile’s yoga sessions, I absolutely love it!!
Fueled up with my favorite pancake recipe. I knew there wouldn’t be lunch, so I wanted to make sure my belly is full!
Dolled up before the ceremony, summerstyle. I made the hair first – you know the donuts? SO convenient for summer and to create a bigger bun.
Then celebrating with a huge BBQ party, friends and drinks!! It was lovely and so much fun. Gotta love the Summernights!
We came home late and I passed out as soon as I touched my pillow. Sleeping in was much needed. When I got up, I took advantage of the morning breeze and went out for a run, followed by Jill’s Birthday Workout! Oh my. INTENSE. I try to add in one workout a week where I do something completely new or just something I don’t usually do in my workout routine. So this weekend it was this Jillfit workout and a few rounds on the TRX. SO SORE.
I love Jill’s blog, she has the BEST and most simple ways to explain how to train effectively, how to lead a healthy lifestyle and to be true to you. I read all her articles, she’s such an inspiration!!
Saturday was spent at the lake. What else? Summer Weekends here just always look like this. Workout, a swim, breakfast, sunbathing, a swim, reading, chatting, eating, a swim. And then hitting a little BBQ at home.
I mixed my salad greens with my favorite summer dressing: 1 handful rasperries, 1 tbsp honey mustard, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp apple vinegar, 1 tbsp olive oil, juice of half a lemon, pepper, dill, parsley, ginger, chives and a dash of sea salt. Blend all. So fresh and delicious!
Sunday was lake time again…..sorry, so boring. A little fotoshooting happened….
…and we met this lovely family!!
I took my agenda with me, so I could plan out my workouts and a few meals for next week. I figured, that it is much easier to not overtrain if I plan my workouts and stick to the plan all week, no matter what. 2 restdays are planned!!

….lunch, dinner and dessert/snack!
….AND then it was time for dinner.
Starter was fresh Tuna Sashimi, they had it at the store, loved it!!
…main course was a remake of my Shirataki-Zucchini-Noodle Bowl. It’s soooo good!! I am little obsessed to be honest.
Before the sun went down, we ended our weekend with a last evening swim. BLISS!
