First WIAW of July 2013! Wow, June flew by, I didn’t even realize it. But I am not complaining, because July is the summer-month, and obviously, I love Summer.
And another fabulous thing is happening today, before we dive into the nutritional part of this post:
Happy Birthday my Love! You are finally one year older than me (again) 🙂 Love you!
I am not sure if our Hostess created a new theme for this month, so maybe I am wrong with presenting sensible Snacks today?! Hm, ok. Let’s jump on it anyway.

To be honest, I am not snacking that much lately. With the summer-heat and being busy since I am back from vacation, it just didn’t happen that much. Also my appetite did not appear that dominant and I tried to listen to my body and just eat when I am hungry – which does not always happen, but I am working on it. But I DID have snacks here and there, which looked like this….
You may wonder, that you see hardly anything from the stuff I brought home from my vacation…..believe me. I don’t DARE to touch it. It’s so precious, and I just don’t want to get to the point where I am out of it – I think I had ONE Questbar since being home, haha 🙂
But let’s look at some of my meals I had on….SUNDAY. Weekend-days tend to be a little differently structured, because clearly, I don’t get up at 5am as usual. So my first meal happens way later in the day and I end up with only about 2 meals instead of the 3 or 4 I usually have. Works for me, fine with me.
I was down at the lake at 7:30am on Sunday and did Interval Sprints for 20 minutes and steady jogging for 20 minutes. When coming home, I grabbed my weights and added a lifting session until I was ready for breakfast/lunch=brunch:
Snack in the afternoon happens to be unpictured – I made another smoothie with broccoli and berries and had some cold leftover grilled chicken on the side. Dessert:
After some blog-time and a lovely walk at the lake, it was finally time for dinner. I am craving these summer salads like crazy right now and this one was no disappointment!!
So here you have it, nothing too fancy, but nonetheless REAL and good food!
