I am back 🙂 I hope you all had a great start of the week! Even though I am sad that my vacation is over, I am also happy to be back in a routine, and of course seeing all my friends and colleagues again. Expect his post to be a huge picture overload. I downloaded all the camera pics last night and there were so MANY, I could not decide which to post, so I went crazy and took a holy huge bunch of them. Not too much about food, as I save these for Wednesday. WIAW in Cape Cod and all the goodies I brought home – and the ones I found and then couldn’t find anymore 😦
Ok, so let’s just start with the beginning…NEW YORK CITY.
We spent a ton of time in the Hat Shop – SO FUN!!!
And then the long drive back to New York. We had sooo much traffic, but we made it on time! I even managed to prep my plane food beforehand! I was SO glad I had these healthy choices on hand. On the road and on the airport all you could get was junk….
And what is better than coming home after a long flight, unpacking stuff, going for a long run/walk and then sit down to a fresh homemade dinner? After this, I passed out at 10pm and woke up again at 11 am – WHAAATT?? I slept 13 (THIRTEEN) hours. I can’t remember when this happened the last time! Probably as a teenager…drunk…… 🙂

What was your longest roadtrip you ever had? The drive between Boston and New York took us 7 hours with the car and 7 hours with the plane back home to Switzerland. Though we travelled to the Philippines 2 years ago and it took us 28 hours!!! 🙂
What is your favorite snack to have on hand when you are on the road?
Eggs, Baby Carrots, Questbars, Almonds or a bottled green smoothie!
