Guess what today is? The start into 15 days in the U.S.!! We will head off to NYC today until Wednesday, then grab a car and drive down to Boston. We will stay in the city until Sunday and then go on to the coast to enjoy the beach. I am so excited and can not wait to get there!
In the time while I am away, I have a GREAT line up of some of my favorite bloggers to guest post. I was beyond happy that so many were willing to make an effort and provide an article. So be SURE to check in and read all that good stuff! I will be posting once in a while too, so you will get some updates on the journey over there.
Before I leave, I kick off the highlights from this week! You can imagine how excited I was when I arrived in Zurich yesterday and found this:
Amanda and me arranged a little in-official Foodie Penpal exchange, I LOVE that!! I mean seriously, look at all this stuff??? And the card just made my heart melting.
Although I can not believe that my Canadian friend has to send me Swiss Chocolate over because we don’t have that flavor here…..seriously?? I will have to control myself and save every bite. THANK YOU girl, you made my week!!
Something else that also made me extremely happy this week was the sun. After all this rain we had, it was SO GOOD to feel the warmth and the light. I took advantage and went for a long run on Wednesday morning out to the forest and landscape that is close to my home. I live in the city, but also close to nature which is perfect.
I know it’s so old!! But it’s STILL so good!! I swear, I played this on repeat for about 5 times. If anyone spotted me rocking my booty to Slash’s guitar-jingles at 6am in the forest, probably thought I am the complete scary freak.
Speaking of workouts, Daniel tortured me through some crazy circuits the other day….

I always feel the urge of begging for mercy, but I think he would just burst out in laughter and ignore me. So I might as well just do it. And feel like a badass after.
In an other post, I talked about this Sea Salt Spray. I used it several times now and it is perfect if I have no time to straighten my hair with the flat-iron. You can use it in wet and dry hair. And get this ‘beachy-wild’ look:
My favorite meal of this week was definitely the Thai Buddha Bowl!! I loved the prawns I added and the extra amount of curry 🙂 So tasty!
And I am definitely on a baby cucumber kick, love these babies!!
Speaking of food. As a former Flight Attendant, I saw the food they serve on the plane. And I know how it is prepared. And I know that I am NOT going to eat this ever again. So I made sure I have my Tupperware ready!! The flight is 8 hours PLUS checking in time and the ride to the hotel – so all in all about a day of eats. You bet, I stocked up on some meals…..
