Ok, I know, it’s not summer yet, but ALMOST!! And it’s always better to make you feel like summer despite the sun doesn’t, right? So today, I present you my favorite summer salad dressing, paired with the perfect summery salad combo.

You may have noticed that the whole dressing and salad recipe is based on a sweet/savory taste. Honey/Ginger, Strawberries/Hot Mustard, Dried Fruit/Radish, Melon/Endive – this all makes it not only a light, summery meal, but a refreshing delicious taste-explosion! I hope you’ll like it!! I will link it up on Friday for the #RECIPEFRIDAY party hosted by the amazing Kierston!!

  1. Lucie that looks like summer in a bowl! I really wanted to make a fruity dressing last night, now I have the perfect one to try 🙂

  2. Ohhh, love this “flavor explosion” combo (love the dried figs/dates too! YUM!)! You know me…I’m ALL about mixing the sweet with the savory! I haven’t made a lot of homemade dressings. I usually just keep it simple and use thinned out hummus, salsa, or plain balsamic vinegar, but I’ve been playing around a bit with different honey mustard combos. I’ve also been trying to make my own Ranch, but haven’t had any real winners yet.

Favorite salad ingredient? Just ONE?!! Omg, how to choose???? Nope, I can’t so I’m just going to list my favoriteS (in no particular order and not necessarily all together): spinach, black olives, peaches, blueberries, strawberries (ok, really any fruit!), candied nuts, cranberries, hardboiled egg, cheese, edamame, and roasted chickpeas! LOL 😀

  3. I have never tried a salad with a fruity dressing or made a fruity dressing myself. This just screams SUMMER!!!!! Yum 🙂

Love that salad combo! Totally reminds me of summer and now I can’t wait for it 🙂

  5. You know, I’ve never tried making a salad dressing with fruit – I usually go the yogurt route, but this looks like a perfect recipe for the summer! And so does adding watermelon to your salad ❤ I love, love, LOVE fruit in salads, with some of my favorite being apples, mangoes, cantaloupe, and figs.

    Happy Tuesday, love!

  6. This sounds fabulous, especially since strawberries are so deliciously sweet right now! The sweet and savory combo is the best :).

Oh WOW! This looks awesome Lucie! I always put fruit in my salads yet haven’t made a homemade fruit salad dressing, I will for sure give this one a whirl! Yummy 🙂

This sounds so good! Sweet strawberry with tangy vinegar and lemon, umm, yeah. Might make me actually try a classy salad dressing instead of just dumping salsa or mustard on top of my salads 😉 Plus yes, strawberries always make me think of perfect warm, sunny days!

  9. I absolutely love strawberries in salads…that and goat cheese! eeeeeeeeyummm!

Thanks for linking up and for the shout out! Grateful! xo
