Friday Favorites – Fashion, Food, Workout, Linklove

Hey y’all!!

Ok, I stop now. I am just going to dance.

As I zapped through my pics on my phone yesterday, I found some which I didn’t even remember taking them. Does this happen to you too? And sometimes I even have to look at what I shot to remember what I wanted to write in my post. So let’s start with some fashion. I wore this outfit twice on the weekend. One time with heavy boots and no accessories….

And I found this cute pic of the small leatherbag and 2 different ballerinas which I bought in Spain (it was spring there) – for nothing! 10 Euros per pair.

I am in love lately with one of my heavy weights routine my trainer taught me. It’s called Linda and it consists of 10 rounds – 1st round 10 reps, 2nd round 9 reps, 3rd round 8 reps, etc. It really kicks my butt because it’s heavy and my heart is gallopping.

I use these handpads to protect my hands from the bladders I get from this beast!!

Also my daily morning runs were absolutely fabulous this week. The weather was ok, not raining/snowing and the best thing is, that it’s getting bright earlier and earlier each day. I included 4 Tabata rounds in my run (2 cardio Tabata, 2 strength Tabata) which I did in the park – and it’s so much nicer when the day starts to brighten!

Since I always focus on my Abs too, I did these Abworkouts from ToneItUp. It’s so cool cause they have so many. I just go on their YouTube Channel and can pick from a big variety. My to favorite ones:

Good fuel is needed after this. I went for lunch this week with my best friend to my favorite saladbar. I throwed together a wonderful veggie-protein-packed bowl.

Dinners stayed the same – simple, filling, light.

And breakfast looked like this every day. Unfortunately in front of the computer, but sometimes it has to be.

Speaking of Food and Foodlove, I have again some great articles and recipes from the Healthy Living blogger world to share with you…..

I tried to make Kale Chips before on which I failed completely. Now I found this genius recipe for Kale Chips by Gina. Need to try these on the weekend.

Valentine’s Day is over, but I still want to try these lovable Beet Red Pancakes created by Kim!!

I LOVE this article by Greta. Since I am all about pink, I was thrilled by the post LOVE IS PINK.

Another great great post about SIZES was written by Sam. SO inspiring!!!

So let’s move closer to the weekend. I have a full Sandrofree weekend ahead. He will be up in the mountains, riding the slopes with his boys. I will miss him. On the other hand, it does have some pro-points: 1. I have the appartement all on my own 2. I can study in freedom (not a lot positive about that) 3. I can watch any show on TV I like without the typical discussion or any irritating comments…..

So I have a few ideas on the weekend plate:

  • TRX Circuits

Bena 2013 225

  • Running or GYM

  • A new recipe for pancakes brought to me by a good friend of mine
  • Nori Wraps

  • Studying (blah.)
  • Having a dinner-movie-night with a friend
  • Blogging
  • Reading (‘It starts with Food’ – to prepare for my Paleo challenge! And still need to finish the last part of Stieg Larssons trilogy)
  • Trying Recipes
  • Nail Care

I LOVE your outfit, and how you styled it (i still don’t know if i prefer the 1st or 2nd one, i think i just love them both :D). And these ballerines you bought are just too pretty! I can’t wait for spring!
This weekend is going to be very low key for me: dinner with friends, going to the pool and… Studying! Have a great weekend xoxo

    • Nadja says:

Ballerines = ballerinas of course! My phone switches every word i write, kind of annoying 😉

      • Oh thank you my Dear!! I am really excited for Spring too. So we will have the same weekend 🙂 low key, studying and a bit of workouts 🙂 Enjoy!!

I’m loving the workouts you’re doing with your new trainer. So awesome and I’m so excited for you to be lifting heavy! Love the outfits too. I like both looks 🙂 Happy weekend!

  3. Greta says:

Yay for the outfits!! And those heels make you real stylish. And for everything else on this post! Love the workouts and the food and those ballerinas (what a catch !!) And when I first scanned through your post I was WTF my jewel box is doing in Switzerland??!! Oh, I’m so happy you liked the post!
As for your recipes – I’d like to hear more about your diet on the whole. You don’t seem doing dairy or protein powders. What are your macros? Do you count calories? And all that crap 😀 I’m just curious 😉
    Happy weekend, love! Don’t over-train!! 😉

    • aaaahahahaha I am sorry that I irritated you for the first moment 🙂 I could hardly decide which photo to take, all of them are so darn beautiful!
As for the moment I am not doing the whole yet, I will start in April and untul then I want to read the book. I will update you on that (you can of course join me if you like :-)) but for now – I don’t count calories I want to try to eat what I need and not what’s on the calorie counter. I do check once in a while to see where I am at. And yes, I do eat protein powder (Sunwarrior or PerfectFit) but I try to avoid dairy and grains since they make my tummy upset. Any questions, please ask!! Happy Weekend Beauty!!

      • Greta says:

Oh, Lucie, it did not irritate me, I thought maybe I’ve sent it to you while sleep walking or something! 😀 😀 😀 You are welcome to use all of my pictures as you wish!
As for the diet! I need some change, but I still don’t know if I’m able to handle any other plan, so I’m researching 😉

      • I did a lot of research too. So just let me know if you need a tipp!

  4. LOVE your sweater, especially with the scarf! Very cute :).

    Happy Friday!! 🙂

  5. Thanks so much for the shoutout Lucie! Much appreciated.
That ‘Linda’ workout looks so intense. And I’ve never tried any of the tone it up workouts…I might have to look for one today actually, I was planning on doing a lower body weight workout but my knee is acting up.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

    • Very welcome!! I like the TIU workouts. They are intense but not SO intense so a good balance to all my other intense workouts – you should try it, it’s fun and they have a huge choice!

  6. Love that sweater you are wearing. such yummy food pictures, I need to start trying new recipes

  7. Lisa says:

How cute are you?!? I love your outfit, so cute!
Those pumpkin protein pancakes look fantastic! I really need to branch out and try some new recipes! I’m slacking in that department for sure.
I love the bright red nails, so pretty! My go to color right now!
    Happy Friday love!

    • Thank you Beauty!! I love trying new recipes. But i have to do it on the weekends since during the week I am so busy I habe to stick to the usual quick stuff! Hmmm red is my fave. Happy Weekend girl!!

  8. loved the outfit! and thanks for all the new recipes. I’m also in love with TRX workouts — seriously I don’t think any ab workout compares to one with a TRX band. Love your blog pretty :]

  9. Courtney @ Star Systemz says:

Cute post! Im obsessed with tangerines right now so a recipe with those would be awesome! This weekend was fun and full of lots of tasty treats! Hope you had a great weekend! Love + Shine Courtstar

  10. Your outfit is gorgeous!
The booties and the top is gooorgeous!

  11. Yes!! I can definitely relate to the “I can’t remember what I was going to write about so I need to look at my camera” scenario. It happens to me ALL the time! Thank goodness our cameras serve as our second backup memory, right?!

I LOVE your outfit both ways!! The heeled black boots are hotttt (as are you in them). Oh, and aren’t Spanish shoes the best? So cheap, but so fun. When I lived there for a summer during high school, I came back with 15 pairs of new shoes–no joke!

Your salad from Dean and David looks amazing, and so do the pumpkin protein pancakes you made. Yum. It’s been too long since I’ve made pumpkin pancakes, so those *need* to happen this week.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend, my dear!! Did you try whipped cottage cheese? It’s one of my favorite snacks! xoxo ❤

    • Oh yes, shoes in Spain is BEST!! I will go in May again, I think I need an extra suitcase, hahaha 🙂
I do the whipped cottage cheese a lot, I LOVE IT!!! But I failed again on the Kale Chips – I give up!

Who thought I would ever write again. Link in Bio. ‚'In essence, love is the consistent embodiment of care, compassion, kindness, and joy toward yourself, your partner, and each other as two interconnected and supported beings. If you encounter those feelings, you can't work around your own vulnerability.

But: there is one emotion that is stronger than fear, and that is forgiveness. For power is never simply a possession but an exercise; power is about how we understand ourselves. If we can forgive, we can let go. If we can let go, we can detach. If we can detach, we find happiness.' #blogger #heartstories #detachment #happiness
