Good morning and happy first day of the week! Ok, mine is not so happy since I have to go to school today and
it sucks I don’t like it. Oh well, it’s only one day a week and ends by end of March, so no big deal. Thanks to Katie the day gets still marvelous because of the MIMM-Party on her blog!!
Ok let’s get started with some weekend talk. Nothing really exciting happened to be honest. Saturday morning I went for a run with Sandro we did not do this in a long time together. It was freezing and snowing but the fresh air was really good! I did this abwork after, which is really hard and challenging!
We kind of forgot breakfast, each one of us was busy doing things….Sandro was doing laundry, I did a long stretching session, then ironed the laundry, did my nails….about 2 hours later when it was already past lunch, we sat down for ‘breakfast’ 🙂
We headed downtown later on since we wanted to get some CD’s. Before buying them we had an earfull….
I love buying CD’s. It’s so old-fashioned in these days, since all the downloading hype is going on. I love the good old CD’s.
We strolled a bit through town, went grocery shopping, had a predinner-drink in a bar and then dinner around 8 – pretty late, but the day was just like that. Everything a bit later than usual. I had no appetite and only went for a green salad with prawns and seaweed.
We opened this bottle I got from my boss 2 weeks ago. He wanted me to try it with Sandro. It is VERY good one, but I am just not a wine person. I hardly ever drink wine and also from this one I just had a few sips, but oh, they were good!
Sunday morning we were up early and decided to go iceskating first thing!! Normally, Sunday is Runday or Restday, but changing routines once in a while is so refreshing, right?? I love iceskating but most of the time the rink is so crowded so we thought going up early (9:15) would be good and it might not have much people. We were right, it was great and huge fun!
Back home from the cold we sat down and had breakfast. I was superhappy that I precooked the pancakes so we could dig right in! I made the Ginger-Pear-Pancakes from Heather and topped them with all the fresh berries I could find at the supermarket and some homemade applesauce. YUMMYNESS!!!!
The day went on with laziness, a short run in the snow, studying (blah) and mealprep, later of course typical Sundaynight dinner including movie – no change here…. 🙂
That’s it for today, I wish you a great start into the new week!
What is your favorite pancake?
Do you still buy CD’s once in a while?
Iceskating? Love it or not?
