I have a few ‘leftover’ pics from my Spain trip! πŸ™‚ Sorry if you are bored by now, but it’s just what happened here the last few days so I have not much else to talk about….tomorrow will be recipes again! πŸ™‚ FOOD!

So we had our last evening in Saturday and ended it just as the hols were – relaxed and nice. We went to NERJA where the ‘Balcon de Europa’ is and it is one of my favorite places around this area. We caught the sunset….

IMG_2483Had some predinner drinks….

IMG_2501Had dinner. YES. I had pasta which I did not eat for about…..hm….2 years? More? Well, thing was, that we walked around forever to find a restaurant we liked and I got hungrier and hungrier. I don’t know about you, but f I get this hungry and no food is available, it is not fun to spend time with me. So finally we found this cute italian location right at the beach and they had Tagliatelle with seafood which I craved right when I read it in the menu. I ignored ANY voice in my head which was trying to tell me not to eat carbs at night, and not to eat white pasta. Good on me. Because THIS was BLISS.

IMG_2503 IMG_2504Since I was in this strong-enjoyment-mood, I took another glass of Cava and some wine. No guilt. Just hmmmmm.

IMG_2505 IMG_2516After dinner, we went for a moonshine walk, which was really nice since it was still so warm! And we knew we had to get back the next day….we just wanted to save every minute.

We even got up early the next morning to catch the sunset. Breathtaking. It was my restday and so we just walked easily for about an hour along the beach and I loved it.

IMG_2533 IMG_2541The moment came and we had to leave!! So sad. I am very much looking forward to come back – which will be in May with my girls gang, YEAH!!

The flight was ok, and yes, I am the one who brings her own food to the plane. Believe me, I had enough plane food. I was a Flight Attendant for Swissair for 2 years and I am done with this kind of food.

I am never done with chocolate though…..

And look what I found…..I am in Love. Sure. They are anything but healthy. But they are totally my taste. And moderation is key. ANd life is too short. Amen.

I have to go back solely for these cookies! No such things here in Switzerland!!! 😦

IMG_2551Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. And a good start into the new week!!

Tomorrow ANOTHER Hummus Recipe will be on, AND, the mashed-veggie-cream-soup-kinda-bowls. Watch out!

  1. What a beautiful trip! I can’t get over how different Sandro looks with glasses.

Good thing I just bought some chickpeas for this recipe your about to share πŸ™‚

    • Oh I know, I like it better without the glasses, but then he’s almost blind haha πŸ™‚
Perfect! You need an avocado and an eggplant too πŸ™‚
      Have a wonderful monday, love.

  2. Beautiful pics! Looks like you had an awesome trip. Looking forward to the recipe tomorrow! Happy Marvelous Monday!!

Spain looks so beautiful! I’m loving all the pictures, makes me feel like I’m on vacation too!

  4. Wow those white chocolate digestives sound incredible. Love your pictures of Spain, so pretty and it looks so much warmer than here! Have a great week Lucie πŸ™‚

Ahh the pictures look amazing! I’m sure y’all had the BEST time. I have GOT to go to Europe soon. Or at least in the next 5 years. That tagliatelle looks killer. I’m drooling. The mussels and shrimp look divine! So glad you were able to have a great time!
    xoxo

  6. I don’t think I could ever get tired of seeing pictures and hearing about Spain! It just makes me kind of jealous πŸ˜‰ But I’m loving that you had such a good time, and I’m completely with you on the plane food – I always pack my own snacks when I travel, mostly because they don’t offer nearly enough food to keep up with my appetite and the food they do offer is usually less than great.

    Happy Monday, love!

    • Thank you girl! i am sad though to be back already 😦
Totally agree. I saw too much of the preparation when I worked on the planes so I definitely refuse to eat it πŸ™‚

Seems like you had fun in Spain! Love your pictures. Haha it’s weird because just before reading your post i was thinking that i was REALLY craving some pasta carbonara, and then i read your story about the tagliatelle and it decided me to cook pasta tonight πŸ˜‰

  8. i was gonna say I bet the seafood there was amazing! gah so beautiful

  9. […] Lucie allowed herself to enjoy a fabulous looking taglietelle dish with 2 glasses of wine while she was on vacation in Spain! It looked so good that it inspired a hankering for some delicious pasta in me! […]

    This is breath away taking!
Awesome post with the more awesome pictures accompanied by. (Maybe you should study some photography – you’ve got an eye, girl)
Oh the glorious food – I wander what you’ll pull of on Wednesday? Everything looks so tempting.
And your and bf smiles are the best part.
    Your holiday is indeed marvelous!

    • Oh wow!! Do you really think that?? I feel very honored….cause I LOVE photographing but I always thought it’s only the others who do the good shots….like you πŸ™‚ Now if you say that, I have to think about it….it would be a lovely hobby and perfect in connection with my writing.

      • Greta says:

Now, seriously, Lucie. I’m not good with photos, I guess I’ve already mentioned that I work as a stylist for a magazine (Cosmopolitan Lithuania) I am behind the photographer every day (well almost). And besides all the tricks I learn from them, one thing i know – there has to be talent there and I think you’ve got one. passion and knowledge come along, but you have to have that different view on things. And I often see it in your picks.

      • That means a lot to me Greta. I think I will put a good camera on my wishlist for my birthday! πŸ™‚
And for your job….I absolutely LOVE it! I knew you were working for a magazine, but I didn’t know that it is Cosmopolitan and I didn’t know as a stylist. I’d love to sneak in once and watch. I am all about fashion, I even had some consultation once from a stylist would love to have this service regularly πŸ™‚

      • Greta says:

I don’t talk about my work much or show what I do (the company policy) πŸ™‚ and I don’t think you need a stylist of any kind. But you could make the hell of the artist – this I know.
