Greetings! It’s Monday-Party-Time! Go ahead, check out Katie’s blog for more Marvelousity for a good start off.

Welcome to another weekend recap. It was a great mix of rest and productivity. Off to a good start on Friday with this Lovenote on my doorstep in the morning from my man:

I did quite some workouts on Friday. In the AM it was a short leg circuit, after work 30minutes GRIT and a TRX Bootcamp class. I loved the classes!! Will definitely do these more frequently.

So I needed to give my body some well deserved recovery treats:

I truly need this in my life.

Sandro came to pick me up and we traveled back to Zurich together. I was completely knocked off by the time we arrived home and crawled right into bed at 11:30 pm. And I woke up. At. drumroll. drumroll. drumroll. 10:00 AM. YES!! 10 and 1/2 hours of sleep. Aaawwww. It was SO good. With all this sleep and NO workout I had the time and energy to get things done which were on my list for way too long…..

And I finished another scarf! I actually intended to knit one for myself to survive winter, but so far I gave them all away – much more pleasant to see someones smile about it!

Sandro had a night out with his boys so I chilled home alone which I love. I tried out a new recipe and I must say….it was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S.

You see, I am on a GIANT giant-prawns trip. Seriously, they are SO good and currently they sell them fresh for sale, so how can I not hoard tons of ’em and stuff my face every day??
I took Shannons recipe and added pumpkin and some other spices and you bet, I licked the plate when finished #sorrynotsorry !!

Sunday morning I was well rested and felt like a good workout which included a run outside in the snow followed by one of Shannons strength workouts.

Rest of Sunday was easy and lazy as always and ended with another round of bliss.

Chicken-Fries Recipe and a new incredibly delicious Hummus Recipe will be on tomorrow for Tuesday Recipes!!

I totally love to cook my veggies in different ways. As much as I love my simple steamed veggie-bowls or my oh-so-amazing-salad-combos, it’s so nice to switch up once in a while.

So this morning is school again, tomorrow work and then…..FIVE DAYS SPAIN!!! Yup! Sandro and me go for a short trip to Costa del Sol where his parents own a house. I LOVE this place and can not wait to get there and to inhale some sun, temperatures of 15ยฐC and the oceanbreeze…..and doing my workouts at the beach which is just so much better!!

    • I bought it at Migros! The big ones sell it. Or you find Dr.Martins unsweetened coco juice in the Whole Foods store. And thanks, the soups taste delicious and I will share the recipes next week!

      • Hm, depends what you serve with it. The recipe on the post is for 1 person served with veggies. If you serve a more filling side, I would say the serving on the recipe is enough for 2! Hope that helps! Would love to hear how your family liked it!!

I’m literally drooling over it. I don’t know why you need me to teach you recipes, because um girl you are always sharing delicious ones!!

    • I added 100g pumpkin, that is, hmmmm about 1/2 cup. And I added Coriander, Curry and Garlic. I will share it Tuesday next week! Well, I just think YOURS look and sound to die for. We definitely need a cooking session together, ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Your hair looks gorgeous! And that salad looks so delicious – smoked trout and coconut chips? Yes please! How good is the feeling of getting up after a long sleep? After traveling from Australia to the UK (24 hour journey), I slept for 13.5 hours and felt like a million dollars!

    It’s so kind you keep knitting scarves for others rather than yourself. Nothing sweeter than a handmade scarf to keep you warm. While I can’t knit myself my mum keeps knitting me hats, pullovers/dresses and wristlets. How long does it usually take you to knit one scarf? I know I’d need aaaaages.

    Would you mind mailing me some of that Pumpkin-Coconut soup?! It looks soooo good!

  13. Oh my gosh, I went to be the other night around 11pm and shocked the heck out of myself when I didn’t get up till 9:30!!! It felt SO good to get caught up on some much needed sleep (which can be really hard when you work nights). Sounds like your weekend was nice and productive! I love checking stuff off the list of things to do…especially when it involves laundry (my most hated chore). I never iron though…I just can’t do it…most of the time I just put the clothes in the dryer and hope it will work it’s wrinkle magic! Of course, I have been known to take my hair straightener to some of my sleeves or the ends of a shirt! I’m so lazy! Lol

    Ugh, I wish I were more crafty! I want to make scarves!

No filter. And no one ever tells me again bullshit like that CrossFit makes me look like a man. Left side, 1998 (19y), ~60kg, in an abusive relationship, fueled by a daily dangerous skinny drug cocktail which almost killed me and hours of cardio, no lifting and an oh so fucked up mindset. Right side, 19 years later today (39y), ~68kg (~8kg gainzzz!!). Recovered from 20 years of extreme disordered eating and drugs; and passionate about CrossFit. A healthy mind (pretty much at least ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‰), a healthy body, freedom and a joy of life I had never experienced before. To be alive and healthy is a fucking miracle. I've always been a stubborn kid and I never half-assed things - contrary, I went and still go full-ass with everything I did and do - which also led me to extreme addictions. But it also allowed me to fight through suicidal thoughts and hurdles. Yet, if you want to overcome something so incredibly strong and stubborn like an Eating Disorder you have to be stronger and more stubborn and to want it with all your heart and to give everything you got. If you are willing to let go in favour of your health, then get your shit together, you can do it. It's possible, I'm the living proof. Trust your strength and never stop believing. And for fucks sake, no one ever goes trying to make me feel embarrassed about my muscles again. I'm not.
