Tuesday Recipes – Sweet like Chocolate

Hello!

I was about to skip this post since I had absolutely no idea what to post. I am in such a please-serve-me-I-don’t-want-to-cook mode, that I just did not come up with something new. Until this happened:

Ok, the second one you’ve already seen on yesterday’s post, but I want to tell you the friggin delicious secret about it. Believe me friends, I am already now addicted to this stuff. It all happened, because I did not feel well yesterday after work when I did my BADASS workout and had no crave AT ALL for my planned veggies and shrimps. I had veggies already 3 times that day and felt like some spinachleaves grow out of my body and my head turns into a broccoli. My stomach made stupid cramps and so I needed something warm, creamy, fudgy and AAAAAAAHMAZING! BUT of course I did not want to spoil my pretty good balance I keep since beginning of the year with my clean-lean-plan, so I watched carefully what I put into this sweet crack.

So that’s what I took out of my pantry:

Chocolate-Protein-Cookie-Porridge

1 Tbsp Almond Butter

3 eggwhites

1 tsp cinnamon

1 Tbsp stevia

1 scoop Sunwarrior (or protein powder of your choice)

1 Tbsp unsweetened Cacao Powder

Preparation: 

Put eggwhites into a bowl and mix with a fork until fluffy. Add all the rest of the ingredients. Add some water or almond milk if it is too dry. It should have the consistence of a pancake dough.

Pour the batter into a skillet with coconut oil and cook while stirring for 3-5 minutes. Top with your fave topping and enjoy. It’s decadent, I promise.

Note: This is not SO sweet, since I didn’t add sugar. You can add more stevia or a tsp honey or agave syrup to sweeten up.

The next one is more like a dessert. I use very little of the ingredients so it gets only a few bites for a sweet tooth.

Chocolate-Protein-Pudding

2 tp cacao powder

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp protein powder

2 tsp almond butter

1 tsp stevia

1 tsp honey

2 tbsp water

Mix it all to a delish-ugly mess and enjoy!

For those who want to kick their butt before diggin in these proteins, here’s my favorite workout from Shannon. I have 6 different ones now, and I love them all. But this one – woot!!!

Cycle rolling hills intervals and TRX

Warmup cycle: 5 mins

Cycle 10 mins: 1 min moderate, 1 min hard, 5 loops

Off bike Circuit 1: 

10 burpees

20 jump squats

20 DB plank rows

10 dead man crawls

Cycle 10 mins: 1 min moderate, 1 min hard, 5 loops

Off bike, TRX, Circuit 2:

16  mid rows

16 jump squats

16 high rows

16 jump squats

16 Ws

16 jump squats

16 plank pushups

Cycle 10 mins: 1 min moderate, 1 min hard, 5 loops

    And don’t me get started on that dessert – looks amazing. I doubt I could have that in moderation – too tempting for me! Hehehe… I sound like an addict. Ok, I am! 😀

    • Yeah, the workout is cool and killing too 🙂 Well, since it is full of protein and hardly any sugar (at least the porridge) you could eat a bit more than moderation, haha 🙂
