Hello and welcome to a new round of ‘What I ate Wednesday’ hosted by lovely Jen over at Peas and Crayons!
I topped it with a McVities Cookie. I am obsessed. Look at this.
Before I had this, I went to the gym for a bit of HIIT/Tabata training, Cardio and a swim. It was absolutely nice cause I was ALONE.
Now let’s see what my christmas meal plan was. Pretty darn good, you bet. As mentioned yesterday, I had breakfast in the fancy hotel. I was in breakfast heaven.
So that was more like a brunch/lunch and I was satisfied for almost all day. I only had half of this to survive till the feast later on started:
It’s not my favorite. It’s loaded with sugar and I’d rather create my own to get my healthy fats in.
We had the christmas celebration at my Mom’s later on. My brother hates christmas since we lost Dad and so he always spends the days in the mountains. So there was only me, Sandro, Mom and her partner, Martin. We started with a little appetizer. It came with potato salad, but I skipped that. I didn’t want to fill up my stomach already in the beginning and I am not a fan at all of potato salad.
Maincourse was my wish: Fish. It was really really good. We had steamed salmon and monkfish with spinach and a little brown/white rice. Delicious!
After exchanging gifts, I served my self-made berry tiramisu. It was SO good.
I had 1-2 glasses of champagne, but stayed with water for the rest of the evening. I feel that my body had enough alcohol now after these days….
