Today is MONDAY, which means it’s MIMM – Marvelous in my Monday-time hosted by lovely Katie from healthydivaeats.com.
So much to talk about from the last few days! No idea where to start. Maybe with some food? Hmmmyes, Food is always good. I had this whole package of blue corn chips done in 2 days (which is in my opinion pretty long for a package of tortilla chips). I love them!
Friday lunch and snack:
Some baking happened while it was snowstorming outside….
1 cup Jumbo oats
1tsp baking powder
1 scoop protein powder
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 dash of each: cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, stevia
Preheat oven to 180°C.
mMix all ingredients together. From cookies on a baking sheet with a large spoon. Bake for about 10-15 minutes.
In the evening, Sandro and me went out for drinks. We had a gift coupon for prosecco and tapas in a bar just around the corner. It was snowing so hard we had to pack up in thick winterclothes despite the short walk!
The tapas were not worth taking a picture. Thanks God I wasn’t all that hungry, because it was quite disapointing what they served there. At least we had free drinks and good talks! Some future planning happened 🙂 Nothing exciting, believe me, no wedding so far 🙂
After drinks we went for a short walk along the lake as it was SO beautiful with all the snow.
We tried to take a really cool pic from Sandro jumping in the snow. Did not happen.
Saturday morning I slept till around 8 am and woke up totally low sugared and weak cause I kind of skipped dinner the night before. So I just took it easy with a short Yoga session and a short run in the snow. We chilled in our favorite coffeeplace later on and then some shopping happened, yay! Sandro bought me some winterworkout stuff for christmas. Yup, I already got my christmas present 🙂 I think he prefers to do that – let me choose things and then saying: ‘Babe, I buy this for you for christmas, alright?’ 🙂 probably much easier than thinking about something himself and finding it….totally ok with me, I love the new stuff!!!
I also bought the high heels in the background (in grey) but on another day when Sandro wasn’t with me…..
I didn’t buy those yet. But I want them! Both!! Haha. I am in love with Asics.
Saturday night was magic. We were invited by some of our best friends for a traditional yearly ‘Friend’s Christmas Dinner’. It was SO great to see all of the friends, chatting, laughing, listening to music, having great food and company. We stayed till 2 am in the morning and loved it.
One couple came with their newborn. I couldn’t get over how cute he was and especially his sweater. Isn’t that the most adorable thing ever??
In the morning I cycled to the Pool club to burn off some of the sweets and drinks. Cardio, weight lifting and swimming – and I felt like newborn.
A healthy post-workout-fuel was needed!!
My favorite Sundaymorning breakfast. Filling but light, balanced and healthy. Sandro was pretty hangovered, so we decided to head off to get some fresh air in. We drove up to a hill where the view is pretty and walked for more than an hour in the snow. It was GOOD.
Rest of Sunday was lazy hanging around, having a short and nice dinner at my Mom’s place and getting an early sleep. Tonight Crossfit is on the plan. It will be a ‘LUCIE-WOD’ – how cool is that??!!
