Good morning! I hope you all had a great start into this weekend. I had my last detox day yesterday. This week was a great success! Not only is my skinny jeans lose, I also felt so good all week. No bloated belly, no cramps, no cravings and I felt energized and satisfied. I talked to Danielle and I will continue eating like this. I see that my tummy is happy with this diet so I’ll stay with it. It’s not that big of a change anyway. I just cut down dairy as much as possible and grains, sugar and salt. Which of course does not mean that I won’t eat it at all anymore – but just not on a daily basis and not in my self cooked meals. It was a great variety of good food!
Mashed Sweet Potato and beans
Avocado, Sunflower Seeds, carrots
Quinoa with egg and steamed veggies
Hummus and kale chips
Spinach Salad with chicken and Avocado
All of those meals are going to happen more around here in the future!
But you know…..tonight I am going to run a city race (5,5km) and after that I will have a huge gulp of Prosecco, haha! 🙂
And now that my workout routine ist starting off again, I have to make sure my gadgets are always with me when I travel back and forth Basel and Zurich. These are always with me in every workout!

Yesterday Friday was a good day. When I got up, I had no plan at all. I really have no idea when this happened the last time. No workout, no appointment, no laundry, no nothing. So I went for a walk first thing followed by Yoga. After breakfast I headed to the post office to send off the Swiss-Food package for Jessie!!
In the afternoon I started baking. This is always exciting as I never know how that turns out….I am not very talented in the kitchen you have to know. But this time it turned out great ( ok, the recipes were REALLY easy)! I tried these delicious Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls posted by Amanda the other day. I adapted them a bit and call them:
2TBSP grated coconut
2 scoops Protein Powder taste of your choice
2TSP of each: nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, gingerbreadspice
5 medjool dates
Put all the ingredients into the blender and mix until crumbly. If it is not sticky enough, add a tiny splash of water – tiny!! Take out the dough, and form balls. Put in the freezer. They are to die for!
After that I baked this Low Carb Protein Bread, the one I got the mix sended. It is REALLY good. I love bread but I don’t eat it a lot. I think that’s a great option if I crave bread!
Later on some Starbucksblogging was happening. Gotta love that. It’s kind of cosy to sit there, sipping tea, letting the thoughts flow, writing and watching people 🙂
Before going home I strolled through some shops with Xmas decoration. Oh how I love it! I am not a fan of the feast itself, but I SO love the time before christmas and everything connected to it.
So this ‘no-plan-day’ turned into quite a busy one! But now it’s weekend, right? Right??
