I had a busy day yesterday. Because of that, I made a quick lunchbreak, went to feed the cat of my brother and then had my homecooked lunch at the office: steamed spinach, broccoli and champignons, topped with a boiled egg, homemade hummus and glutenfree crispbread on the side. I loved it! It is my favourite lunch.
When I walked out of the office I was thrilled by the beautiful weather. The sky was clear blue and the sun was shining. So I decided to go for a run in the forest. I absolutely love this route and I miss it, cause since it is dark in the mornings while my workouts, I need to go to the park where there is a bit of light. I think I’d feel scared in the forest when it’s all dark!! Anyway, the run was fantastic. The nature at this time of the year is just so amazing. I felt happy and vitalised while running through all those beautiful pictures!
In the evening I went to one of my fave restaurants in Basel, Jay’s Indian restaurant http://www.jaysindianfood.ch/. I am not too much a fan of indian food, but once in a while I love it. And it was delicous as always!! I also had my favourite apero drink, simple prosecco, hmmmmm. And of course I loved to have company from my friend Sandra who I haven’t seen in a long time. We chatted for hours as we had so many things to update! It was just a lovely evening.
Tonight I am going to buy some fresh pumpkin for my evening smoothie! Pumpkin in fall is perfect!
